How to Volunteer

QRPARCI

Do You Want to Help Guide QRP ARCI as an Officer or Manager?

From time-to-time QRP ARCI officer positions are up for election, and current officers may resign for various reasons. It is extremely useful to the officers and Board of Directors to know which QRPers are willing and interested in a leadership position. Although the significant work required of an officer is personally rewarding, it usually means that nominations for election must be actively recruited. Let the present leadership know you are interested!

Similarly, the appointed manager positions for the Toy Store, Contests, Awards, Webmaster, and Editor of QRP Quarterly may become open from time-to-time, requiring a willing volunteer to step forward and give support to the club’s operation. You can contact any officer or Board member to let them know you are willing to help.

All volunteer organizations rely on the talents, willing effort, and supportive participation of its members! QRP ARCI members include hams with a wide range of skills and experience. Sharing those things with your fellow QRPers—whether for one term or a long tenure—will help keep the club strong!

QRP-ARCI Thanks you!

QRP ARCI logo

QRP ARCI is a club for low power enthusiasts worldwide.

We produce a professional quality magazine (QRP Quarterly), organize an annual conference at Dayton ('Four Days In May' or FDIM), and sponsor various QRP contests and awards.

Our aim is to promote QRP and a variety of related activites. Many of our members enjoy home construction, kit building, antenna experimentation, backpacking and portable operation. Minimalist radios built in small tins are very popular but we also enjoy the very latest high performance radios such as the Elecraft KX3, the new SDR rigs, and great kits like the QCX from QRP Labs, kits from 4 States QRP Group, and the uBitx rigs.

QRP-ARCI is an affiliated Club of the American Radio Relay League

Let us know if we can promote your club, group, kit or product.
