QRP ARCI Golden Jubilee Award
We’d like to thank all those who played in the QRP ARCI Jubilee event in 2011.

It was an overwhelming success because you participated. Rod Hotz K5BGB was the first person to work K6JSS in all 50 states. Rod said - " When I worked TN for #50,I’ll swear I was almost as excited as I was back in June 1955 when I made my first contact on 80 cw as KN5BGB !". Rod and eight others who completed their Jubilee W.A.S. are being awarded a 2012 ARRL Handbook as a reward.

In addition to QSL cards for the event which may still be obtained by sending to the QRZ.COM address, you may send in your log to earn the certificate for working all states.  You may also earn it for working 40, 30 or even 20 states where the station you worked was K6JSS/x, with x being the district of the state worked.  Your level will be indicated on the certificate itself. If you would like an award certificate, please send a log extract showing contacts with all the states you worked to Craig Behrens, NM4T, at 222 Dupree Drive, Huntsville, AL 35806 before February 29, 2012.

Your log should show all the basic information of state, call, date, time, band, mode and both RSTs.

You need to indicate to us IF you used entirely QRP which is recognized worldwide as 5 watts CW/Digital and 10 watts PEP SSB.  However, you did not have to use QRP for all contacts to earn the award.  You do not need to include the name/home calls of the operators you worked.  A nice log sheet for this purpose may be found at http://www.warac.org/events/was/waslogsheet.pdf  Thanks to the West Allis Wisconsin club for hosting this info. The award is free but if you wish to include a dollar to offset postage that would be appreciated.
