Apology - QRP Quarterly subscription reminders
oopsbubble.jpeg

One of the things that QRP ARCI does in an effort to keep members informed on the status of their subscription to the QRP Quarterly,  is send out renewal notices via email.  These notices are sent quarterly to members whose subscription has expired in the recent past, as well as those whose subscription expired with receipt of the latest QQ.

We sent a notice out last on December 7, 2009 to those whose subscription expired with receipt of the Fall 2009 QQ as well as some that expired in the recent past.  Unfortunately, notices were sent in error to members with expiration dates in 2010 and later!

I have received a number of emails from people that received the notice in error, and have responded to them with their expiration date.  If you received this notice and think it is wrong, you can check your member status by using the Member Lookup

This information is from data received on November 15, 2009.  We try to update the records on the 15th of each month, so if you have renewed since mid November, your new info may not be available until mid December.

We have used this process for 2 years and this is the first major problem. Part of the problem this time was that we were a bit late with our renewal notices, and some bad data crept into the member database.  We know what caused it, so we will do better next time.
I apologize for the confusion.

72,

Ken Evans, W4DU
President - QRP ARCI
