QRP ARCI - End of Summer VHF Contest |

Bands: All bands over 50MHz
as outlined in the ARRL VHF QSO Party
Entry Categories: Single Operator
Rover (up to two operators allowable)
Please get your entry in soon - closing date is 26 September 2011
QSO Points:
1 point for 50MHz and 144MHz QSOs
2 points for 222MHz and 432MHz QSOs
4 points for 902MHz and 1296MHz QSOs
8 points for 2.3GHz or higher QSOs
Special Scoring for Rovers only:
The final score consists of the total number of QSO points from all bands multiplied by the sum of unique multipliers (grid squares) worked per band (regardless of which grid square they were made in) plus one additional multiplier for every grid square from which they successfully completed a contact.
QSOs utilizing repeaters of any kind are prohibited.
QSOs on the National Simplex Frequency 146.52MHz are prohibited.
Power Multiplier:
>10W = X1
>5-10W = X4
>1-5W = X7
>250mW - 1W = X10
>55mW - 250mW = X15
55mW or less = x20
Score: Points (total for all bands) X Maidenhead Grid Squares (total worked on each band) X Power Multiplier.
Bonus Points: There are NO bonus point for this contest.
Best reason to participate: A fun mixed mode QRP VHF contest.
Entries should include a scoring summary, a copy of your log and a description of your station.

Will be published in QRP Quarterly and shown on the QRP-ARCI website.
Certificates:
Will be awarded to the top scoring entrant in each category. Certificates may be awarded for 2nd and 3rd place if entries are sufficient in a category.
