• FDIM 2013 - Four Days In May

    'Four Days In May' is the annual convention of the QRP Amateur Radio Club International. It is held in Dayton OH and runs in parallel with the famous Dayton Hamvention. 

  • FDIM Seminars

    Held on Thursday 16th May 2013. Six presentations from well known names in the QRP community. This event attracts an audience of around 400 QRPers.

  • Hamvention Buses

    Visitors to FDIM have an easy journey to the Dayton Hamvention. On Friday and Saturday we have buses running from the hotel door to the Hamvention entrance.

Vendor Evening

Thursday 16 May 2013
8.00pm - 10.00pm

Vendors and QRP clubs from around the World will be selling kits, components, antennas and all kinds of goodies. We already have tables reserved for companies from North America, South America, Europe and Asia !

This is a great place to buy. The vendors have time to chat and you can take your purchases back to the hotel room. For customers, doors open at 8.00pm

If you want to reserve a place at Vendor Evening please -

  • let us know how many tables you need (1 or 2)
  • do you need access to an electricity outlet ?

Vendor Evening is held in The Ball Room.
Vendors will have access to set up tables at 7pm, doors open to the public at 8pm


Tables are provided free of charge but we would appreciate a donation of a door prize to be presented at the Grand Banquet.

All prize donations will be acknowledged and sponsors will be supported on the QRP ARCI website.

Hotel Rooms

Holiday Inn, FairbornAll hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn and Homewood Suites are now booked. There is a reserve list which is currently quite short. It is likely that everyone on the reserve list will be allocated a room when cancellations are notified.

If you want to be added to the reserve list for either hotel please call the Holiday Inn directly on 937-431-4613.

Calls can only be taken during office hours Monday-Friday. Tell them you are with 'FDIM' to get the special rate and complimentary breakfast.
