FDIM 2006 - a brief round up

This year FDIM broke all records with over 250 people in attendance and more than $16,000 given away in prizes and gifts. Speakers included Rev. George Dobbs G3RJV, Eric Swartz WA6HHQ, Wayne Burdick N6KR and Chuck Adams K7QO.

Thanks to the generosity of MFJ and NoGa QRP everyone went home with goodies worth more than the price of the seminar entrance ticket !

  • FDIM Report - THE WINNER IS... With so many prizes to hand out at this year's FDIM, it is almost impossible to list all the winners, but here is a list of those winning in the Building Contest and the ones winning the "grand prizes" at the banquet. First, the building contest:

    1st Place - (TIE) Rich Meiss, WB9LPU -ROTObug
    and Denny Payton, N9JXY -2n2/20 Transceiver
    2nd Place - Jeff Hecht, K8GD- 2n2/20 Transceiver
    3rd Place - Dale Parfit, W4OP - HF Receiver

  • In addition, there were several "major prizes" awarded throughout the weekend.
