Description

This group is a continuation of that which was started and abruptly terminated. Obviously there is an interest by the majority of the active participants in the whole concept of Portable QRP operation during the winter months (late fall to early spring) during the weekend closest to the Full Moon, what we call Polar Bear Moonlight Madness. Issuing of a Polar Bear Number requires that you either have previously been or are now active within the spirit of the objectives of PBMME, oh, and to have fun! Anyone can be a member of this group without having a Polar Bear number, <start disclaimer> however the discussions are monitored and if you don't play nice you will be "moderated" or worse <end disclaimer>. Some have asked about Polar Bear Numbers and we have not changed or reissued any as this is just a continuation of the previous forum. Please promote our group to those who would possibly be active!

Welcome, Doug: Don't know how far south you are, but welcome! Maybe we should recruit some Polar Bears from the Southern Hemisphere so we could celebrate
