August 24, 2008 Update - I am back from our summer trip on the sailboat, and the main goal this fall is to get Kanga back into an operational mode. I am currently packing a shipment of Hands On Radio Parts kits for the ARRL. That will be shipped Tuesday or Wednesday, and then I will begin dry-walling the basement so I can set up my workbench again and get started with new Kits.
At the present time I have the following inventory:
I am going to totally re-do my web page - those of you who have visited here since last years flood know that the web page has been in a state of confusion! As soon as this pages gets loaded on QTH.com I am going to wipe out all the old material and start fresh. It will take a while to rebuild. I do not even have the pages for the stock (listed above) that I do have. Those will appear in the next few days as I get myself back up to speed on Web Page Design!
Plans for the fall - I will be bringing back several of the more popular kits I had in the past. The KK7B designs will include the microR2 and microT2 along with the R2Pro. W7ZOI's Universal QRP Transmitter is an easy one for me to put together, and was quite popular, so It will be back Many of you have inquired about the W7ZOI Spectrum Analyzer. There are some availability issues with some of the parts that were in the SA kit, but I do intend to get some version of an SA going again. AA0ZZ is still doing the PICEL II, and I understand there are some upgrades in the works. A version of the PICEL will be back. Craig and I have talked about the IQPro, and our feeling is that there is not enough demand to justify the expense of bringing it back.
Note that I have not yet listed my phone number at the top of this page. I still have the phone, but I am WAY behind on voice mails, and not really at a point where I want to start taking phone calls. If you need to talk to me, send me an e-mail and I will call you or set up a time when I will be near the phone so you can call me.
Finally - thanks for all your patience and support this past year. I have a huge directory in my e-mail system of all the e-mails of support, best wishes, queries, etc. The Amateur Radio Community is truly a wonderful group of people!
