Digital Frequency Displays Specifications (links to details of each type)

Miniature digital frequency counters designed to display the frequency of operation of superheterodyne (with an adjustable IF offset) and direct conversion (without offset) receivers and transmitters. Also can be used as a bench top frequency counter or built into other test equipment.

DFD1 for single conversion superhets and direct conversion radios

DFD2 for double conversion superhets

DFD3 programmable for any radio (auto-programs for most radios)

You get the case and chassis completely machined and painted. Case is 1/8" aluminium extrusion, chassis is formed steel.	You can specify either a power module kit for DFD1 or DFD2 Contains rectifier/filter and provides power for a backlit display.

This, along with any DFD1 or DFD2 kit, allows you to build your own version of the plug-n-play units and save over $40,

How to Recover from a Corrupted Registry that Prevents Windows XP from Starting

A simple, quick, two step process has been tested that recovers the system in under 10 minutes.

Some stuff I learned after reinstalling XP about 7 times due to corrupted registry files.  These can occur after installing non-compatible drivers or programs.  This has saved me on two or three times and restores with little or no loss of  data,   No need to reformat drive, reinstall applications, try to recover email etc.  Everything back to normal in about 30 minutes or less.

But it has saved my A_ _ more than once.

Here is a hint my brother came up with to organize all those wall transformers for charging cell phones etc. Buy a box of 10 dual wall sockets (cheap ones) and mount them between two pieces of wood on the wall of your garage.  This keeps the cords from getting tangled.
